According to the report from the Public Relations Office of Avicenna Research Institute-ACECR, there will be a special panel on "Advancements in Endometriosis and Adenomyosis" chaired by Professor Saeed Alborzi, the eminent professor at Shiraz University of Medical Sciences and a member of the board of directors of the Iranian Women's Laparoscopy Association. The panel will feature internationally renowned professors and will take place on the final day of “The 2nd International and 5th National Congress on Endometriosis and Minimally Invasive Gynecology (EMIG 2023)”.
During the panel, Dr. Alborzi will discuss the First Guidelines for Adenomyosis published by the Asian Society of Endometriosis and Adenomyosis (ASEA). Additionally, distinguished specialists from Asia and around the world will deliver lectures on various topics related to endometriosis. Prof. Moamar Al-Jefout from the UAE will discuss asymptomatic and subtle endometriosis, Prof. Angela Aguilar from the Philippines will speak on adolescent endometriosis: early non-invasive detection and management, Prof. Pietro Santulli from France will discuss the association between endometriosis and adenomyosis, Prof. Hemant Kanojiya from Sri Lanka will focus on the management of endometrioma, Prof. Alborzi from Iran will present on colorectal and urinary tract endometriosis, and Prof. Alexander Popov will talk about the role of robotic surgery in endometriosis and address questions from the audience.
